Margao: Former Urban Development Minister and ex-Cuncolim MLA Joaquim Alemao said that the current MLA of Cuncolim is weakest ever.
“Cuncolim has seen several MLAs but we have never seen such a weak representative. He has no attitude to approach. He always claims that the works can’t be done because he is in opposition,” Alemao told a press conference in Margao today.
“In the year 2002, I was in opposition and Manohar Parrikar was then CM. but despite that I got several works delievered. This MLA is not working for the people,” he added.
“I have done developmental work and given so many jobs to the people. All those people are with me. I lost by few votes. I have taken a word from Vijai that my constituency would be developed,” he said.
“Yuri has been putting up several proposals. I am sure that the works would be done of Cuncolim constituency,” Alemao added.
