Crisis in Congress diffused? Looks like

Margao: The crisis in the Congress party which had started since yesterday seems to have diffused. Goa Desk incharge of the party Dinesh Gundu Rao has managed to keep the flock together, after his meeting with the MLAs in Margao.

After the meeting in a hotel at Fatorda, owned by Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa, group of Congress leaders including Amit Patkar, Michael Lobo and Sankalp Amonkar met Digambar Kamat at his residence in Margao.

While details of the meeting is yet to be known, Kamat was seen going to meet Rao along with the other leaders.

The political developments have indicated that the crisis looming large over the Congress party seems to have been diffused.

Kamat told a local news channel that he was unaware about any such meeting that was called by Rao. He said that he is retired hurt and would like to maintain silence and work.
