Cricket: South Goa cops defeat their North Goa counterparts in a match

Panaji: The South District Cops defeated North District counterparts by five wickets after chasing 183 runs with 30 balls left to spare during a friendly match held on Friday.

Police Sub Inspector Yash Raikar was adjudged Man of the Match for his blistering score of 100 not out while chasing the target and picking three crucial wickets.

Police Inspector Filomeno Costa deserved applause for his wonderful bowling getting three wickets with tight bowling lines restricting opposite teams to below par score and was adjudged the best bowler.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajendra Prabhudesai showed immense patience and capability of scoring crucial runs in chase and was adjudged the best batsman.
