Goa, January 24: The World Legends Pro T20 League (WLPTL), in association with Goa Tourism, brought its iconic trophy straight to fans, giving cricket lovers across Goa a chance to see the trophy up close, create memories, click photos, and share the excitement ahead of the tournament’s opening festivities at the 1919 Sportz Stadium, Verna. The anticipation is building for the league, which kicks off with a grand opening concert by Sunidhi Chauhan on January 25, followed by the first match on January 26, with matches running until February 4.
On Day 1 of the tour, the trophy was spotted at Chapora Fort and Baga Beach. Fans lined up along the beautiful coastline to catch the first glimpse of the trophy, capturing photos with the silverware against the backdrop of the fort and the sea. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, with children, families, and cricket enthusiasts alike.
Day 2 of the tour saw the trophy visit Mangeshi Temple, Palolem Beach, and Mapusa Market. The tour continued to spread cricket fever across Goa, bringing together the state’s cultural, spiritual, and community hotspots. Fans posed with the trophy and shared the excitement in festive energy, making for a truly memorable experience.
