Panaji: Total 300 people tested positive for COVID-19 infection in the state on Sunday taking the tally to 11,639, health department said.
The official said that 287 patients were discharged from various facilities taking the number of such patients to 7775.
“Out of 1979 samples, 1436 were negative, 300 positive while 243 reports are awaited,” the official said.
A 60-year-old man, a 36-year-old man, 70-year-old woman, 89-year-old man, 39-year-old man and a 66-year-old man succumbed to the infection during the day.
