Panaji: Goa on Monday reported 317 new COVID-19 infections taking the tally of cases to 9029.
Health Department said that 213 people had recovered from the infection taking the total of such patients to 6208.
“Out of 3078 samples tested on Monday, 2031 are negative, 317 returned positive while reports of 730 are awaited,” an official said.
A 49-year-old woman, a 73-year-old man, a 47-year-old man, a 55-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman died due to the infection.
