Panaji: Goa on Thursday detected 174 new infection of COVID-19, the state Health department said.
With one more patients succumbing to the infection, the death toll in the coastal state has risen to 29.
A 71-year-old man who was admitted in ESI hospital at Margao succumbed to the infection on Thursday.
A total of 114 patients were discharged during the day, taking the tally of recovered cases to 2655.
