Panaji: Total 355 people tested positive for COVID-19 infection in the state on Sunday taking the tally to 11,994, health department said.
The official said that 283 patients were discharged from various facilities taking the number of such patients to 8058.
“Out of 2268 samples, 1629 were negative, 355 positive while 284 reports are awaited,” the official said.
A 67-year-old woman, a 83-year-old man, a 35-year-old man, a 91-year-old man, a 76-year-old woman, a 64-year-old woman and a 56-year-old woman succumbed to the infection during the day.
