Panaji: Goa on Sunday reported 175 new COVID-19 cases, taking the count to 4,861, while two deaths during the day, including that of an 63-year-old and 53-year-old, both men, increased the toll from the infection to 35, an official said.
A total of 230 people were discharged during the day, leaving the state with 1,549 active cases, he added.
“A total of 8,219 samples were tested on Sunday, of which 175 were positive, 1,411 negative and 6,633 reports are awaited,”the official said.
