Porvorim: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte has expressed concern over the skyrocketing number of COVID-19 pending results due to which thousands of Goans are suffering in paid quarantine facilities.
Khaunte has posted government’s health bulletin on his twitter handler which concedes about piling up of cases which are awaiting the tests.
The Porvorim MLA tweeted “COVID-19 test reports are seeing an increasing backlog, with the number of pending reports skyrocketing by the day. Requesting @goacm and @visrane to clarify this for the sake of thousands of Goans struggling financially and emotionally in paid quarantine facilities.”
“What is the final count of pending results? What happened about the Abbott M2000 testing machine which were to be installed – was it just for the announcements?”
