Panaji: Total 596 new cases of COVID-19 infection was reported in Goa on Friday, taking the total tally to 27,379.
The health department official said that 470 people were recovered on Friday , after which 21,314 people have been declared as recovered by the state government.
In all 1,873 samples were tested of which 596 were tested positive, he said.
In all eight people died on Friday taking the death toll to 335 in the coastal state.
