Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 57 and reached 54,648 on Tuesday, a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 788 as one of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 53,381 with 41 of them getting discharged on Tuesday. The number of active cases is now 479, the official said.
“With 1,776 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 4,85,451,” he added.
