Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 167 and reached 47,068 on Tuesday, a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 679 as two more patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 45,168 with 85 of them getting discharge on Tuesday. The number of active cases is now 1221, the official said.
“A total of 2,004 samples were tested during the day,” he added.
