Panaji: Bombay High Court at Goa today came down heavily on the organizers of Sunburn Klassique for going ahead with the preparations despite a stay order on the work.
The division bench of Justices M S Sonak and M S Jawalkar directed the organizers to remove all the structures put up at the venue for conducting the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) festival and to apply for NOC from the Village Panchayat of Anjuna for conducting the event.
It also asked the panchayat to consider the NOC application only after the land is restored in original condition.
Court also said that if organizers don’t remove structure then the Panchayat, with the help of police, will do the same.
