Panaji: Goa court on Tuesday extended police custody of two accused arrested in connection with alleged murder of Sonali Phogat by another two days.
Judicial Magistrate First Class at Mapusa extended the police custody of Sudhir Sagwan and Sukhwinder Singh by another two days.
Both the accused were arrested in connection with the case in the last week of August and were later sent to ten days police custody. Their custody expired on Tuesday after which they were presented before the local court.
Goa Police which is investigating this case has arrested five accused including owner of Curlies Restaurant Edwin Nunes and two drug peddlers Dattaprasad Gaonkar and Ramakant Mandrekar.
