Panaji: A day after ailing Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar made his first ever public appearance after over two months by inspecting the construction of ongoing work of third Mandovi Bridge and Zuari bridge, the Congress party, while appreciating the same has urged him to unfurl tricolor on Liberation Day, December 19.
Congress president Girish Chodankar took on tweeter to appreciate efforts of CM to personally visit and inspect the bridge.
“If the same spirit is displayed on December 19 to unfurl our tricolor and deliver Liberation Day address and honour Goa’s liberation,” he tweeted.
“To unfurl tricolor is much easier and honourable job than visiting bridge,” he tweeted further.
