Panaji: Congress party will announce the list of its candidates for upcoming Zilla Panchayat election on Saturday.
Goa Congress Chief Girish Chodankar said that the party’s district committees will meet on Friday to shortlist the candidates.
The final announcement would be made on Saturday, he said.
The party has announced that they would be contesting on nearly 40 seats while on rest of the positions, they will support anti-BJP candidate.
