Panaji: Congress party in Goa held protest on Friday over the NEET row demanding that the examination be re-conducted for all the students.
The protest was held at Azad Maidan in Panaji by Goa Pradesh Congress Committee and NSUI, the students’ wing of the party.

Addressing the gathering, Patkar condemned the BJP led government for its inaction on the “NEET fraud”. He demanded that the NEET examination should be re-conducted for all the students.

South Goa Member of Parliament Viriato Fernandes assured the students that the congress party will raise the issue in the Parliament. “Our leader Rahul Gandhi has already met the representative of the students and extended his full support to them,” he said.

NSUI State President Naushad Chowdhari said that the National Students Union of India will “Gherao” the Parliament on June 24, 2024 if the Government fails to act on scrapping the NEET Exams.
