Panaji: Hours before BJP’s proposed morcha on Rafale deal on Congress House in the city, Rahul Gandhi led party played a master stroke by indulging in Gandhigiri.
“Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Welcomes Goa BJP to Explain their lies on Rafale deal. The Nation needs to know the truth,” reads huge banner installed outside Congress House Opposite Ferry point in the city.
GPCC Chief Girish Chodankar went on to tweet “We @INCGoa all set to welcome & listen @BJP4Goa with flowers their truth on #RafaleScam today at 3.30 pm in front our Panjim office. Refreshments are also arranged for our counteparts from #BJPGoa. Nation Wants to know the Truth.”
Earlier in the afternoon, BJP circulated message on media groups announcing Dharna program.
“BJP-Dharma programme on (today) Friday, 21-12-2018 at 4 p.m. starting from BJP office to Ferry Point (Opposite Police Headquarters) , Panaji to protest against Congress & its leadership for misguiding people over Rafale agreement,” read the message circulated by party’s media co-ordinator Sandesh Sadhale.
