Panaji: The congress party has distanced itself from the statement against GFP Chief Vijai Sardesai by its social media incharge Divya Kumar.
Sunil Kawthankar, Vice President PCC and Incharge of Media & Communication said that the Statement issued by Divyakumar Kandhar Chairman of social media is in his personal capacity and is out of ignorance and misunderstanding of subject and should not be treated as Partys stand.
“Vijai Sardesai and Goa Forward are integral part of the United Opposition and we are committed to fight BJP collectively to safeguard interest of the people of Goa,” he said.
Divyakumar had accused Vijai of not making statements against the CM and claimed that the Fatorda MLA was getting closer to BJP.
