Valpoi: The Congress party has demanded that the State government should repair roads in Valpoi constituency before Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
Valpoi Block Congress committee held a protest at Public Works Department’s Road Division office at Valpoi demanding immediate repair of the potholes in Sattari taluka.
The protestors have said that if government fails to repair the roads before Ganesh Chaturthi, they will celebrate the festival in the Road Department’s office.
Assistant Engineer Mr Pokle told the delegation that the roads will be repaired before Ganesh Chaturthi.
