Margao: Advocate Jayant Prabhu, one of the prominent lawyer in Margao, ended his life on Thursday at his residence at Davorlim. Prabhu has left a suicide note blaming PSI Anushka Parab and the constables accompanying her for his death.
The police team led by PSI Parab had visited Prabhu’s residence to search for his son, Pritesh, who has been accused of a molestation by a woman. Margao police have registered an offence against Pritesh.
Prabhu in his suicide note has named LSPI Anushka Parab accusing her of harassment. The note clearly mentions “I blame PSI Anushka Parab and the constables accompanying her, who were extremely rude to me, responsible for my suicide.”
The police were searching for Pritesh after the case was filed against him. Sources stated that Pritesh was undergoing treatment at IPHB, Bambolim, when raid happened, while police were blaming the family of hiding him.
