CM Reviews Progress of Key Infrastructure Works Worth Rs 512.91 Crore in Goa

Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of key infrastructure projects being implemented in the state under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment scheme of the Union government.

Projects worth Rs 512.91 crore are being undertaken in Goa through this central assistance, an official statement said.

Sawant reviewed the overall implementation status of the works, utilisation of funds, and the timelines fixed for their completion. He instructed all executing departments to expedite the projects, ensure better inter-departmental coordination, and adhere to deadlines so that the benefits reach people at the earliest.

The Chief Minister said his government remained committed to fast-tracking development initiatives that contribute to economic growth, strengthen public infrastructure, and improve the quality of life of citizens.

He stressed that timely completion of capital works was essential for sustaining the state’s growth momentum and meeting public expectations, the release added.
