Panaji: Surprising his critics, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today personally travelled to inspect the work on third Mandovi bridge. Parrikar also got down from his car and held discussions with GSIDC and L&T officials.
Parrikar started inspecting the bridge from Porvorim side and culminated his inspection at Merces side travelling in his car.
Mid way he got down and also held discussions with gsidc officer Sandip Chodankar.
Parrikar inquired about progress of the bridge with the officials and also gave certain instructions.
This is for the first time that Parrikar has moved out of his house since October 14 when he was discharged from AII India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi.
