Porvorim: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar attended the office at Secretariat on the first day of the New Year today.
Parrikar left from his private residence at Dona Paula to Porvorim at around 10.30 a.m. He is expected to meet his staff and go through some urgent files during his visit to the office.
This is his first visit to the office since he has been ailing from pancreatic ailment.
“Today being the first day of the year, the CM thought of not missing his office and he expressed his wish to come here,” a senior official said.
