Mayem: Goa Forward leaders and workers gathered in Mayem on Sunday to carry forward their initiative Connect with Goemkars.
Goa Forward Joint Secretary Santosh Kumar Sawant and Party Vice President Durgadas Kamat along with workers were seen moving around in Mayem constituency and meeting people to hear out their grievances.
While speaking to the media Sawant said that he has been moving around in constituency to hear the grievances of the citizens. Our President and TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai has been kind enough to support us to carry out the developmental works in mayem. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and our President Vijai Sardesai we will take Mayem Forward in every aspect said Santosh Kumar Sawant.
Sawant further said that he has noted down the various grievances of the citizens of Mayem and would be placing it before the govt through his party President Vijai Sardesai.
Sawant further said that Citizens should avail Nital Goem Nital Baim scheme to renovate their wells and start using the well water. There are hundreds of wells in mayem constituency which needs to be renovated said Sawant
Party Vice President Durgadas Kamat who has been camping in Mayem for last two months said that their focus is to build the party from grassroots. In democracy every political party has the right to build their organisation.
Kamat further said that Chief Minister has been kind enough to support the vision of Vijai Sardesai and the classic example would be of Dubai Style SGPDA Fish Market which was done in a record time of 6 months .
