Panaji: After participating in the meeting called by chief minister Pramod Sawant, Congress leader Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco and NCP MLA Churchill Alemao have toned down their stand in support of tourist taxi owners.
While Reginaldo refused to offer any comment, Churchill said that the chief minister has given several options to the tourist taxi operators.
“They have been an option to go for a separate app. I think they should accept it,” he said while refusing to call himself as “leader of taxi people.”
He said that now it is up to the tourist taxi operators to decide whether to take the solution or not. “I cannot say anything. CM has held patience with them and has given option,” he said.
