Panaji: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today said that he is looking for best and fastest route to ensure resumption of mining activities at the earliest.
“My target is to ensure that some of the mines start operation at the earliest. I am trying to see which the best and fastest route it resume mining activities in the State,” Chief Minister told reporters.
“As of now no one need to worry. This is rainy season and anyway mines are always close during the rainy season. I am considering all the options..i have not closed any door,” he commented further.
Parrikar also said that he would be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue, once I am clear as what State wants.
“Currently my consultation with stakeholders is on and once the consultation is over, only then I will meet the Prime Minister. Even during the assembly session period, I can go to meet Prime Minister. I have not decided the time yet,” he stated.
