Panaji: An abandoned building partially collapsed on Saturday at St Inez, but fortunately there was no casualty reported.
The building was abandoned and was in the dire condition. The locals claimed that despite several complaints to the Corporation of city of Panaji, the structure was not demolished.
The structure collapsed in the evening on Saturday. The fears are raised that rest of the building may collapse on a house located below it, anytime now.
Several officials including CCP Mayor Rohit Monserratte had rushed to the site.
