Panaji: Congress’ Goa Vice President Sunil Kawthankar on Tuesday demanded that the responsibility should be fixed in connection with the boat tragedy involving “Paradise Nerul.”
He said that the tourism department, Captain of Ports or coastal police cannot shy away from their responsibility. Kawthankar demanded that the inquiry should be conducted in the entire matter.
“Hold responsible that officer who allowed the plying of the boat illegally. He should be arrested and entire cost of rescue operation should be recovered from his salary,” Kawthankar said.
He said that the detailed investigation should be conducted in the entire incident.
