Panaji: Bharatiya Janata Party today laid scathing attack on Congress’ Goa Chief Girish Chodankar responding to his allegations that State government was trying to inaugurate the incomplete third Mandovi bridge.

Addressing a press conference, BJP leaders including Milind Naik, Nilesh Cabral and Siddharth Kunkolienkar castigated Chodankar for his comments. They recalled how Congress, during its tenure, had failed to complete the bridges.

Milind Naik said that Chodankar from nowhere has discovered that PM Narendra Modi was supposed to inaugurate bridge on January 12. “When we have National Executive happening at New Delhi on that day, how can we even think of inviting PM,” he questioned.

Former Panaji MLA Siddharth Kunkolienkar said that Congress has continued misleading people.

He pointed out how during BJP tenure several bridges were constructed while during Congress rule, several bridges were left half done.
