BJP President Nitin Nabin Arrives in Goa on His Maiden Visit

Panaji: BJP National President Nitin Nabin arrived in Goa on Friday on his maiden two-day-long visit to the coastal state after assuming charge.

Nabin was welcomed at Manohar International Airport, Mopa, in North Goa by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, BJP Goa President Damodar Naik, and other office bearers.

The BJP President left for the party’s headquarters in Panaji from the airport.

Nabin will address a meeting of the party’s core committee in Panaji in the afternoon before visiting the Mahalsa Narayani Temple at Verna village in South Goa.

A senior party official said that the BJP President will hold a meeting with the party’s South District members in the second half of the day in Margao town.

He will later head back to Panaji to address a meeting with state office bearers, state morcha presidents, mandal in-charges, and mandal general secretaries.

In the evening, Nabin will meet NDA partners, including the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party and Independent MLAs, who are supporting the Sawant-led government in the state.
