Panaji: BJP’s Member of Parliament Narendra Sawaikar today said that his party in alliance with MGP will form the next panel in Ponda municipal council.
Sawaikar said that BJP has increased its tally from four to five in Ponda municipal council election. “Also our booth share has been intact. BJP support base in Ponda has remained intact while the share of Congress has gone down,” he said.
“The Congress should be introspecting. BJP and MGP alliance will form the council,” he added
Sawaikar also accepted party’s defeat at Sankhalim Municipal council.
