Panaji: BJP mahila wing Chief Sulakshana Sawant has sought apology from her Congress counterpart Pratima Coutinho for exposing the girl victims.
In a statement released here, Sawant has said mahila morcha demands an urgent and immediate apology from Coutinho.
It is also clear that mahila morcha will not tolerate any such attempts against anyone from Goa, she said.
Sawant has said that congress women wing Chief was taking undue advantage of young girls to get political mileage.
The victim of sexual exploitation needed justice and victim had to be booked by police, she said.
It is common sense that name and face of such victims should not be revealed in public domain she said adding that Coutinho seems to be blinded by the urge to seek limelight in the media.
The photographs of victim were displayed by coutinho thereby increasing the woes of their family, sawant said.
