Panaji: Goa will be part of the international beach cleanup day which will be held on September 17.
Addressing a press conference in presence of Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte, chief minister Pramod Sawant said that 75 beaches will be taken up for cleaning across the country, of which five are from Goa.
Goa will organize this event at Miramar, Calangute, Colva beach with the help of local panchayats. At Miramar beach clean up, the chief minister will be present while at Calangute event, tourism minister Rohan Khaunte will be present.
