Mandrem: Police have arrested a 27-year-old Bangladeshi woman who had illegally entered India and was staying in Goa without valid travel documents.
According to a police spokesman, Mandrem police arrested Sarmin Bibi (27) on Saturday (December 27) from the Arambol beach area.
The accused was found in the parking space of Arambol beach and, during routine checking by Mandrem police, she was found without valid travel documents.
Police said that she had entered India illegally without valid travel documents such as a visa and passport and was found staying illegally in Goa.
She was arrested under Sections 21 and 23(a) of the Immigration and Foreigner Act, 2025. Police said that further investigation is in progress.
