Arvind Kejriwal arrived in Goa on three-day tour, criticises BJP on club fire

VASCO: AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal arrived in Goa on his three-day-long tour during which he criticised the state government over the nightclub fire tragedy.

Kejriwal was welcomed at the Dabolim Airport in South Goa by Delhi’s Leader of Opposition Atishi, Goa AAP Chief Amit Palekar and others.

Talking to reporters, Kejriwal said that he is in Goa to campaign for the party for zilla panchayat election.

He said that in last 13 years BJP has only given corruption to Goa, Arpora Incident is a prime example. “There was no alternative to BJP in Goa but now AAP is there,” he said.

Kejriwal said that the Arpora club was running without any legal licence, despite a demolition order it was functioning, and it took 25 innocent lives. “This is what BJP has given Goa,” he added.

The former Delhi chief said that there was no alternative to BJP in last 13 years but now AAP is here. “In the upcoming ZP elections I request the people of Goa to vote for change. The change which is to happen in 2027 assembly elections should start from this ZP election,” he said.
