Panaji: Following is the message of Archbishop on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr:
“On behalf of the Catholic community of Goa and Daman, I wish to convey my heartiest greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr, as they pray for God’s forgiveness, mercy, peace and blessings for all living beings across the world and especially in our country. May this festival inspire all of us to promote genuine love and care, particularly to the needy, while celebrating our friendship with God, the source of all human relationship.
We pray to God that this celebration may spread joy to all.”
