Valpoi: The Health Department started conducting rapid antigen tests for COVID-19 at Community Health Centre Valpoi, results of the test are out within 30 minutes.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that to ensure we get speedy test results, I am happy to inform that Community Health Centre in Valpoi has begun Rapid Antigen testing. The turn around time for the same is within 30 minutes.

In charge of chc valpoi Dr Shayam Kankonkar said that the Rapid antigen test will reduce the burden on RT PCR test helping in quicker identification of cases and reducing the risk of spread of infections, “Testing has played a significant role in checking the spread of positive cases, asymptomatic patients are being detected and isolated faster now. We are aggressively testing now in a place is very found cluster of positive cases”.
