Amit Shah’s public meeting on Sunday will kick off BJP’s LS campaign in Goa
Panaji: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s public meeting scheduled to be held on Sunday will kick off BJP’s Lok Sabha campaign in Goa.
Shah would be addressing a public meeting in South Goa constituency on Sunday, April 16 which would be the first ever campaign for 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
“We are expecting more than 25,000 people to attend the public meeting on Sunday. The like-minded parties will also be the part of this meeting which will begin the Lok Sabha campaign in the state,” BJP Goa’s General Secretary Narendra Sawaikar told reporters on Saturday.
He said that Shah will arrive in Goa from Maharashtra around 3.30 pm, after which he would be attending a meeting of the state party leaders to discuss organizational issues.
Sawaikar said that after the meeting Shah would be addressing a public meeting at Farmagudi ground near Ponda town, 30 kms away from here.
He said that BJP will win both Lok Sabha seats in Goa.
Congress had won from South Goa seat in 2019 Lok Sabha election and BJP from North Goa.
