Curchorem: Curchorem-based social worker Amit Patkar has taken an initiative to help the COVID-19 positive patients in the area by providing them all possible help.
As a part of Amit Patkar initiative, the team led by him are busy providing free meal to the COVID-19 patients who are in home isolation (living alone) or senior citizens whose children are out of the state.
The initiative has also purchased Oxygen Concentrators and Oximeters to provide to the patients, who require it.
Patkar told goanewshub that they have purchased 20 Oxygen concentrators which will be provided to the needy patients in Curchorem.
A helpline 7769030909 has been launched which will be operational round the clock to help the patients.
He said that the Advanced Lifesupporting Ambulance will also be commissioned to help covid-19 patients from Thursday onwards. The initiative has also empanelled a doctor who are providing telephonic consultation to the Home Isolation patients round the clock.
