Kolkata: Goa’s former Congress Working President Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco on Tuesday joined Trinamool Congress Party in Kolkata.
Lourenco had resigned from the party and the Legislative Assembly on Monday before heading to Kolkata.
TMC’s official handle tweeted “Today, former @INCIndia Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco joined us in the presence of our Chairperson @MamataOfficial and our National General Secretary @abhishekhaitc. We extend a very warm welcome to him! Together, we shall work for the betterment of all Goans.”
The two time MLA from Curtorim assembly constituency was recently elevated to the post of Working President of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee.
