Panaji: In a series of chat on his Facebook account, Congress legislator Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco has exposed the internal fighting within his own party. His statements, which are made in response to some comments on the FB, are for the public to read and they were not withdrawn till Sundaymorning.
“Even if the congress GPCC executive is put against me by a certain section of leaders who have held position in the party in 2017 now are still playing and the same guys have ditched congress party for presidential election and are playing still in feeding wrong news to high command. I am still proud to be congressman may not take it lying down.. may take steps I am proud of the party principles too,” the Curtorim legislator has said without naming anyone in a chat comment on the FB.
The entire string of comments by Reginaldo is a response to the statements made by his FB friends on his post “I m proud to be a congress man and proud of my congress mlas from Karnataka they did make me happy and jds mlas thank you.”
When asked by one of the FB friend “Proud about Karnataka MLAs, what about Goa MLAs?” to that Lourenco responded: when the stand up I will be proud of them and Karnataka showed the way to follow.
The legislator further goes on “Even after I am not given an post nor position by party after being with party for last five years and even if my party agenda based dirty leaders have put me down before high command but I stand by my principle and will not compromise might change my place but no compromise on principles which I have done for last 20 years.”
In yet another comment which apparently is referring to his own party, Reginaldo has said “I hope the crooks learn after making money for their children and learn from BJP to make the party bigger not them and spoil the name of Congress party in the bargain.”
Indirectly referring to chief minister Manohar Parrikar, without naming him, Lourenco said “after the crime is committed they are threatened by bhaie who then rules otherwise he is out for zero and the future of real congress is finished… our real karyakartas.”
Lourenco also said “I am the only mla to say it last five years in assembly this term I said it I am waiting for leaders who made money on party position to say it.”
