Vaibhav Mahesh Pai Student of Angel institute of technology and design won a Gold medal representing his college in inter-collegiate powerlifting championship 2021-2022.
Shree Damodar college of commerce and economic Margao goa in collaboration with Goa powerlifting association had organized 1st inter collegiate powerlifting championship on 26th and 27th may 2022. In heavy weight category Vaibhav pai of AITD lifted 493kg in total that is 180kg in squats , 110kg in bench press and 203kg in deadlift to conquer gold medal
Vaibhav pai is from Arambol Goa and he is a student of 2nd year mechanical engineering at Agnel institute of technology and design Assagao goa.
He is also an state level athlete and had recently won gold medals in CM trophy district and state level powerlifting competition. Vaibhav is trained under saish korkankar at MJ fitness world gym Arambol Goa
