Porvorim: Minutes after Mopa Airport Development Authority (MADA) admitted that the construction licence for GMR was given pending payment of fees, Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte has questioned “under which provision was the building permit issued.”
Khaunte tweeted “Director of Civil Aviation has responded to my allegations of pending construction fee before MADA, without answering the base question – under which provisions of law was the Building Permit issued?.”
“Which provision of which act or regulation provides for issuing Building Permit without receipt of demanded construction licence fees? Request Shri Suresh Shanbhogue to clear the air for the people of Goa,” he said in another tweet.
