Panaji: A day after AICC Goa Desk election incharge for Goa P Chidambaram’s visit, the party has dissolved all the Block and District committees with immediate effect.
Party’s Goa Desk incharge Dinesh Gundu Rao on Friday issued a circular informing Goa Pradesh Congress Committee that all the Block Congress Committees (BCCs) and District Congress Committees (DCCs) of Goa are dissolved with immediate effect.
Rao has said that both the DCC Presidents will continue as the same. “District Congress Committees and Block Congress Committees would be reconstituted within one month period,” the circular reads.
Chidambaram during his two day long visit, which culminated on Thursday, had met various party leaders to work out strategy for upcoming Goa Legislative Assembly election.
