Panaji: Former CCP Commissioner and current Director of Women and Child Development department Deepak Desai is heading for another trouble after he successfully managed to escape from Ruby Construction case.
Former corporation of city of panaji Mayor Surendra Furtado has opened a cane of warms for Desai. Furtado has claimed that Desai filed false affidavit before the Bombay High Court at Goa in connection with the illegal shops in the new market.
He said that Desai had stated that the shops were sealed while the RTI reply has specifically said that they were not.
Furtado has said that citizens of Panaji will now file contempt petition in the High Court seeking to put Desai behind bars.
He has also alleged that mafia has been operational in the legal cell of the CCP.
