Panaji: Goa Police on Sunday arrested a 37-year-old accused from Thane, Mumbai wanted in connection with a cheating case by West Bengal Police.
Old Goa Police arrested Greville Eric Henry (37) from Miraa Road, East Bhayander, Thane near Panaji as he was wanted in the cheating case registered against him at Howrah Police station.
A senior police official said that Sub Inspector Sirshendo Kundo
Golabari Police Station, Howrah had appeared at Old Goa Police Station and provided information about accused wanted in their crime registered on April 21, 2022.
“The intense search was conducted for two days during which the accused was apprehended by Old Goa Police on Sunday,” he said adding that the accused was handed over to Howrah Police.
