AAP’s Amit Palekar, three others appear before ED in money laundering case

Panaji: The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday morning began questioning four persons including AAP Goa President Amit Palekar in connection with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act case.

The ED had summoned four including Palekar, AAP leader Ramrao Wagh and two others Dattaprasad Naik and Ashok Naik,
Dattaprasad and Ashok are the leaders of Bhandari community in Goa.
While three others arrived at ED office in Panaji around 11.15 am, Palekar came at 12.10 noon.

All the people who are summoned refused to talk to the media.
“I have been summoned. I will talk you all after I am back,” Palekar said as he rushed for the investigation.

All the four had received summons on Wednesday under the PMLA, allegedly connected to the Excise Scam in which several AAP leaders including Arvind Kejriwal have been arrested.
