Panaji: Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant has said the AAP leaders in Goa are “afraid” after the Excise scam in Delhi has come to light.
Addressing party workers at Velim assembly constituency in South Goa Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday, Sawant said that AAP leaders in Goa are afraid.
“Their Delhi chief minister (Arvind Kejriwal) is in jail. Do you know why he was jailed? He was involved in the Excise scam,” the chief minister said.
BJP has fielded businesswoman Pallavi Dempo as their candidate from South Goa constituency.
Sawant said that the AAP made money from Excise scam and was not sure what to do with it. “They got some money in Goa (2022 assembly elections) and that is why they won matka (two seats),” he said.
The chief minister said that the AAP leaders who are afraid were tracking his activities.
Sawant said that Congress has disappeared from Goa, AAP leaders are afraid and you will not bother about Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP). “The only party which is left now is BJP,” he said.
